Three new entries from three new contributors! Check them out!

"I wanted to create a costume that reflected both the sophistication of a doctor, and the off-the-wall nature of a clown; or the feeling of one getting dressed in the dark. I imagine that she would wear tights under her skirt and a pair of boxing boots for quick, lightweight foot work."
"I went with a look that would fit in with the Ledger style Joker."
"My Harley Quinn looks like a Japanese gothic Lolita, with her skirt and her trash makeup. I realize she isn't exactly appropriately dressed for acrobatics, but I like this kind of paradox."

I really love the top one, just because it stands out so much compared to all the other entries right now. Brian went with a simple, retro looking Harley compared to the many Nolan-verse Harley's, haha.
ReplyDeleteLOVE Gubicza's Harley Quinn!
ReplyDeleteI like the asymmetry of Vincent's Harley. I also like the very subtle face paint. While she still looks clownish, the paint also brings to mind a skull -- a reminder that this girl is pure poison.
ReplyDeleteBrian's Harley is just really cute. I'd like to see that costume drawn in another style to see how it translates.
And I've seen Barbie and Ken together in Toy Story 3, but I'm not sure I've ever seen Barbie and Quinn together. I'd love to see the kid that plays with that doll. Very original presentation, Joe -- and nice costume!
Man, the competition will be tough. Great job to all
ReplyDeleteProps to Brian Gubicza for bringing a little class to this contest. Bravo!
ReplyDelete3 very different and nice entries! A fresh breathe to Harley Quinn in terms of style and execution.
ReplyDeleteHopefully we see more of these. Specially Brian's Vector style and Joe's expression by using toy model. Very fun!
