The Greatest Redesign EVER

Happy April Fool's day. :) Atom Eve's are coming tonight! this weekend! Sorry, I had a planned thing Friday evening and a paper to turn in online before midnight, got it in a couple of minutes late, and am hoping I don't get docked on it. That said, I still need to do the Sponsor Spotlight on Big Shiny Robot! and all of that, so please forgive the tardiness of the post.

That said, I've only had a couple of Atom Eve's turned in so far, so if you have one done (or close to done) crack her out and get her to me as soon as you can and I'll include her in the initial results post, even after I post it. Offer for that stands this weekend only.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to rescue my guitars from the car...

  1. The redesign is how Liefeld redesigned human anatomy.

  2. What is going on with his chest? I am so confused, lol.

  3. Ugh! I think even Liefeld looks at that one and cringes. But however you feel about his art, he is super nice to his fans. I saw him at Heroes Con last summer and was very impressed at his humility and friendliness.

  4. This isn't meant to be something against Mr. Liefeld personally. Anyone who is good to his fans like that is okay in my book. But I think even he agreed, this one was kind of ridiculous, and all-in-all, I just wanted to give everyone a good laugh. :)

I mean, Michael Turner even had a funny faux pas with a Power Girl illustration: http://s3.amazonaws.com/data.tumblr.com/tumblr_kz39fftX0q1qb97lvo1_1280.jpg?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAJ6IHWSU3BX3X7X3Q&Expires=1301811546&Signature=JidaBn%2B34ahPiryGiXDLu2vTUGs%3D

Granted, it's not *as* bad, since Power Girl is supposed to have breasts, but still. Anatomy!

  5. I giggled when I saw your post yesterday. Should have said that first thing. Sorry if I sounded like I was griping, because I was not. It was a great April Fools joke to post this. :)

  6. Oh, no worries. I got that you didn't think it was mean-spirited. I just wanted to clarify my intent, in case someone did think that. :)
