Redesigned - April

If you've not bookmarked Geek Art, I'd recommend doing so. They post all kinds of cool pieces, and recently posted a lengthy article on Stephanie Hans, a French artist who has done some beautiful illustrations of comic book characters.

Like many of us who saw the original photo of Adrianne Palicki's Wonder Woman costume, it appears Stephanie was underwhelmed and did her own version of it. Even with the pilot improvements, this piece is miles ahead:

 More after the jump.

Many of us have likely already seen this, but Marvel is introducing a new Spider-Man in the Ultimate Comics, and with a new Spider-Man comes a new costume.

Over on Michelle Sciuto's blog, she's posted this Victorian-themed redesign of Power Girl and Terra:

It's insanely fun, don't you think? Check out Michelle's DeviantArt page for tons of other great Neo Victorian redesigns!

Robert Schilling, winner of the Angel contest back in December, sent us a revision of the Joker.

To me, it looks like a concept piece that could have come out of The Dark Knight's production office. Like the Joker should be, Robert's piece is truly horrifying in its representation of everyone's favorite madman.

What do you all think? Hit up the comments!

A new contest announcement will come soon, followed by theAtom Eve winner and runners-up!

  1. Hey, can I send in a very late Angel submission just for laughs?

  2. Yes, but since I like to give these pieces a couple of days on the web before I post something new, I would save it for May's Redesigned post. But feel free to send it! :)
