Redesigned - September

Darth Vader results are a couple of days away, but until then, we have a new edition of Redesigned to tide you all over! Check out these awesome pieces!

Albert Hulm, from Germany, sent us this Spider-Man redesign he did:
Albert Hulm

"I researched a lot of modern special suits like athletic running-/swimming-suits or thermal suits for bikers and winter sports. This stuff looks pretty cool and functional to me. And you don´t need to make the whole suit at home, by yourself. It was realy fun to take this influences and create a suit for the 21st century of superhero business. Spider-Man is a really active hero. He´s like a superpowerd parkour guy. He loves this jumping around and swing through buildings stuff. Why he should not have short sleves to feel the wind on the skin if he jumps from the Empire State Building into the deep ... at least for the summer in New YorkThe inspiration for the 3/4 sleeves came from a few parkour guys I saw in a park. As I checked out how the sleeves fits to my redesign, all of the sudden I had this feeling of, 'Yeah, let´s roll up the sleeves and let's beat up some baddies!'

"I like the idea to make Spidey's web a part of his powers. It makes total sense to me, so I wasn't worried about the web shooters. But during the development process I did a test run with the old fashiond shooters. I adapted them a bit more to the design of the suit and they fit well. It makes the costume complete, and I wasn't able to remove them."

Unfortunately, we got wind of this Wonder Woman after our Wonder Woman Contest ended. It's simply too good to pass up, and must be shared:
Carolyn Belefski
"The inspirations behind my re-design of Wonder Woman are Mad Men, vintage stylings, secretary style, Bruce Timm, and making sure Wonder Woman was not wearing pants – because I prefer skirts. The only pants I prefer are jeggings!"

Finally, Warren Newsom, one of our most frequent contributors, sent me this a while ago. Here, he re-imagines the Secret Six...in the sixth grade.
Warren Newsom
L-R: Deadshot, Catman, Bane, Scandal Savage, Black Alice, Ragdoll
What do you all think? Sound off in the comments and stay tuned...the end of our September contest is on it's way!
