Michael Lunsford's X-Men

There's a very good chance you saw these over on Project: Rooftop, but before then, I saw them on Twitter, and asked Michael if we could run his designs here, with a positive response.

The X-Men are tough, because so many have had iconic looks in the past, but these are fantastic takes on the characters the look modern, while respectfully honor the designs that have come before them.

  1. Very cool. I especially like the new, armored take on Iceman. He's not just a giant snowball or a block of ice.

  2. I like the Marvel Girl redesign. Very clean and classy. I also like the more technological take on Cyclops.

  3. I am a big X-men fan, and though I hate when they make changes to my fav comic - this design was great. A bit to much on the Saturday morning side but great.
