Omar I. Landeros's Martian Manhunter

Omar I. Landeros has sent in some very fun stuff in the past, and his submission for April's free-for-all is no exception. Check out his take on the Martian Manhunter:

Martian Manhunter
"I was going for something with more space sense than the suspenders and swim shorts."

Mission accomplished. But what do you think? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned for more redesigns as the month presses on.

Remember, you can send in your Avengers redesigns any time, but keep in mind that they won't be posted until May. For details on the Avengers contest, please click here.

  1. The "space" pattern is amazing, and the way you play it off the red of the rest of the costume is what really makes the whole thing. The whole shape of the costume itself is unusual enough to be believably unearthly, without crossing the line into "What in the world is he wearing?" territory. The body, too, is human-like while remaining undeniably alien. Nicely done!
