"I decide to give them all a simple consistent 'belt buckle' with optional 'A' shoulder emblems, 'A' Gloves and V shaped tops where appropriate to tie them all together in some form while still allowing them to have individual costumes.
"The Vision: I was never really a fan of the Vision's cowl(?) so dropped that straight off and integrated the cape into the main body of the costume. I also kept his head all red so that he looks less like he is wearing a mask and a feels a bit less human.
"Wasp (Yellowjacket): This is a Hank Pym version combining various elements from his Yellow Jacket, Giant-man and Ant-Man identities.
"Captain America: I dropped the mask as i was never a great fan of it (and especially as it's pretty much the only 'fail' in the Avengers movie) and it's not like he really has a secret identity to protect these days. I wanted to keep all of the other elements in some form though so just tweaked and juggled them around a bit
"She-Hulk: I decided to keep a bit off an exercise / gym theme in her design as she has favoured that over 'proper costumes' in the past. I subdued the colours quite a bit from my fist few versions which were way too over-the-top (even for someone with green skin).
"Valkyrie: I tried to emphasise more of her warrior aspect and introduced some armour elements and a more earthy and gold colour scheme."

Both of these are really good :) I especially like Craig's Vision and Hawkeye and Thomas' Cap and Valkyre.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying seeing vision in this designs. I must say that although some tried to unify the teams look, i still don't see anything cohesive enough.
ReplyDeleteI actually think the use of black that Craig used tied the characters together rather well.
